I live in a province called Granada - pomegranate - in Andalucía, Spain, where the fruit grows wild along the roadsides.
What started as a personal photography obsession in 2019 has become a journey through myth, poetry, botany, psychology, geometry, art and culture.
The more closely I look, the more it reveals.
Rubí is being built on the belief that sustained attention to one small thing can open onto an entire world.
This is a living archive. I'll be adding articles and links, writing for a journal here as the project grows, and building a gathering place for anyone drawn to any part of the pomegranate, its myth, its botany, its history, its image. Let's see where the pomegranate takes us.
